The creative force behind this Society is award-winning art director and internationally-acclaimed Canadian burlesque performer Violette Coquette.

A performer, choreographer, and producer— with a master’s degree in visual design— Violette thrives in the arena of live theatrical cabaret creation, and is known for creating one-of-a-kind immersive experiences. Violette has captivated audiences on some of the world’s most iconic burlesque stages across North America and Europe. Her accolades include winning four international titles from the Burlesque Hall of Fame (Las Vegas) in 2024 and 2025. Globally, she was voted Top 20 Canadian Burlesque performers by 21st Century Burlesque Magazine.

A self-proclaimed absurdist, hedonist, and naked philosopher, she is the creator of Two Coupe Society and Violette Underground.
