The Two Coupe Society is an immersive show created to pop-up in cocktail bars. Each show is a unique collaboration, pairing performances with a custom flight of cocktails, created specifically for the show by the host bar’s expert team. We curate a tantalizing cast of performers, unique to each city and event, including local burlesque performers, cabaret artists, and musicians. Our host will guide guests through the entire evening, as they are initiated into our secret and convivial cocktail club of the tease!
Be forewarned – there is no “fourth wall”! Guests should expect to be actively engaged in our Society’s various tantalizing rituals, which include (but are not limited to) cheering, philosophizing, and imbibing.
Our Society is guided by the principles of delight, beauty, and absurdity. Two Coupe Society serves as a laboratory for experimenting, creating, and alchemizing these principles into existence. In a time where experiences can feel cold, impersonal and cookie-cutter, we curate delightful, beautiful, and absurd one-of-a-kind events.
We will tease and tease apart the mysteries of life!
We will undress society and see what it's really made of!
We will take nothing seriously except for play and delight!

History of the Society.
FUELED BY CURIOSITY AND COCKTAILS. OBSESSED WITH ABSURDITY, BEAUTY AND DELIGHT.
Created in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, our first event was held on a cold winter’s eve in 2022. On New Year’s “Eve-Eve” (Dec. 30th), the Two Coupe Society held its first event at Edmonton’s award-winning cocktail bar Woodwork. This New Year’s “Eve-Eve” show has become a yearly tradition, with tickets selling out in less than 24 hours.
This Society is the favourite love child of Canadian burlesque performer and art director Violette Coquette. Curiosity and cocktail-obsessed, Violette has made it her mission to explore North America and Europe’s most fascinating cocktail bars during her performance tours over the past 4 years, including across London, Antwerp, Paris, Zurich, New Orleans, Montreal, Berlin, and more.
Our Two Coupe Society events in Edmonton have featured award-winning locally-owned cocktail bars, Woodwork and Bar Clementine. Given that we curate experiences around a custom flight of cocktails, the quality of the cocktails and expert bar staff knowledge are key. To create interesting, unique, one-of-a-kind Society experiences, we require similarly unique and interesting cocktail bars. This is where the alchemy happens.
